Old lady Democrat rediscovering voices I've missed. Once called "delightful" by a Trader Joe's cashier

MAGA, the religious, transphobes and "Bernie was robbed!" folks are blocked without reply
"If we just treat them like the imbeciles they are and lie to them like the GOP does, that's not a copout!"

I don't tolerate predator defenders, so no.

Defending predators is quite a look, I guess.

You're making up arguments for me and then disputing them? Are you really bored or something?
November 17, 2025 at 12:42 AM
If Americans voted on policy, no one other than multi-millionaires would vote Republican.

So, yes, we've established (not in 2024, but at least as far back as 1965), that Americans do not vote their wallets, they vote their hatreds. The GOP simply knows how to code bigotry in economic terms.
November 17, 2025 at 12:41 AM
No, I'm definitely rejecting your specific arguments.

He resigned. If he wanted a full investigation and hearing, he could have had that.

I guess he decided letting America hear from his 8+ accusers would make him look bad. Shame.

You do, by stating that if only Biden had dropped out earlier, Harris would have had a greater chance to make her case

Yet you also state she was poor at making her case, so how would extra time have helped that?

It wasn't about communication. It wasn't about policies. It's about resentful bigots.

"Normal" people don't excuse rape and fraud.
November 17, 2025 at 12:21 AM
Yet you continue to assert that Harris lost because of "policies."

She didn't. She lost because she's a woman. She lost because she's a Black woman.

She didn't lose because she somehow didn't say magic words.

I think we've established pretty conclusively that Americans do not vote on policy, so that seems a flawed analysis.

I blame equivocators like you and those who refuse to acknowledge the deep and pervasive misogyny of Americans.
November 17, 2025 at 12:14 AM
We never blame voters. We always blame our candidates, and particularly viciously when they're women.
November 17, 2025 at 12:07 AM
The soft bigotry of low expectations for voters? OK
November 17, 2025 at 12:04 AM
It's temporary and only applies to federal taxes, so although it was sold as a big deal and it's in the Big Beautiful Bill, it's a Big Ugly Nothing.

Again, his voters were too lazy and stupid to do any research or thinking at all.
November 17, 2025 at 12:00 AM
Two minutes of Googling would have been enough to show them it wouldn't happen.

Republicans say "economic issues" because saying "I want someone to put uppity women and minorities in their place" isn't socially acceptable.
November 16, 2025 at 11:50 PM
Correct. Republicans, in any case, vote their bigotries.

2 minutes of Googling easily produces enough evidence to convince anyone that Republican economic policies have always been bad for the country, but no other party else pledges to hurt women and minorities as much as the GOP & that's the hook
November 16, 2025 at 11:46 PM
Name one policy Trump held on any topic other than misogyny, racism and the scourge of Midwestern pet eating that people should have shown up for.

My fellow Americans should have been motivated to vote for anyone running against a rapist, but too many are as stupid and corrupt as their leaders.
