My dad is working on that. He's actually quite on top of things. Like, yeah, he's 87 but his brain is the same one he's had since I was a kid so that's like the main saving grace.

I do think the brother they're going to live with cares as much as I do in his way but I also am confident he doesn't know how *old* my parents are. I'll try talking to him and hope for the best. Blargh.

But they feel like they've spent too much time focused on me/my family instead of everyone else and it's weighing on them in their old age. Which....I get but, at the same time, my sister has said she can't wait for them to die so she can stop the charade that she cares. Soooooo....yeah.

I know my dad will be okay but my mom...I don't know. We have to have a security system to notify us that she wandered outside. I don't know if my brother understands what he's in for and I'm positive telling him will come off to him like I'm being a brat trying to negotiate my way into happening.

I'm the youngest by quite a bit. He's 13 years older than me. I'm going to see if I can talk him into at least flying out here to drive back with them.

This is happening because they haven't seen their kids/grandkids and I'm like...They can visit you and they don't. Your guilt is misplaced. Don't kill yourself for these assholes but... whatever.
