Next to the daily town music, we had music that the NPC characters were listening to, like Miu’s riot grrrl tapes, or made themselves, like Spike’s lovesong, or the concert of the band on day 5. Plus a lot of custom-made music, for dream sequences, menus, trailers, etc…

The music would ebb out and become more calm in sections, especially at night. This is one of my favourite tracks:
