I recently lost two doggies within 6 months of each other. It’s a very hard loss when you lose a cherished pet.

Ah, so your issue is with private foundations. Public foundations, like community foundations, are created for the sole purpose of helping their surrounding communities. I understand and agree with you on the issues with private foundations.

Creating a perpetual endowment that will produce income to grant to other non-profits isn’t just hoarding wealth. It has a purpose and a mission. I’m not saying it’s a perfect system, but that is the idea behind endowments for foundations, be they private or public.

It’s not even been 3 whole months since the inauguration. A lot can still happen and who knows what the heck that will be.
