If the BBC supposedly owed Donald Trump an apology for its edit – which had no negative consequences for the President – then surely Michael Prescott owes the BBC an apology for his own misleading edit, too? Especially given how serious its consequences could be?

I'll just say one more time: Trump is exactly what he appears, & no more. He's 100% transparent, 100% graspable. No mysteries, no depth.

He'll react to the next thing just like he reacts to everything, whether it's a celebrity death or a possible nuclear war. Go ahead & expect it.

This is true for everyone: the press, who ascribe him long-term plans & intentions. His supporters, who ascribe him some fealty to conservative ideology. His opponents, who ascribe him political knowledge & skill.

They are all telling you about themselves, not Trump. He contains nothing.

Anyone who looks at Trump & sees *more than nothing* -- whether good or bad -- is not telling you anything about Trump, they are telling you about themselves, their own worldview, what they want. They are ascribing content, plans, intentionality, self-awareness, where there is none.

Dem leadership literally looked at Mamdani's landslide victory, despite their ratfucking, and then *continued* to appeal to people more willing to die in pain than see a trans person alive.

These freaks are all, Republican and Democrat both, convinced that there's a huge pool of voters out there eager to die in agony in order to fuck over trans people.

That despite very clear evidence this does not actually win elections, every campaign has to chase this bigot block.
