Sadly cannot say im surprised by this at all
Sega has been ambivalent about AI at best and has been kinda consistently floating the idea of using AI as a tool around for a while now, it's just kinda disappointing to see them still moving forwards with it

Sega just stated it will use AI to assist in development, but only in "appropriate use cases."

There’s so much ai shit out there (95% of the ads I get are ai), and now the only stuff I can trust to be real is the drawings oomfs make (of girls kissing and other various wonderful things)
