“January 5, 2025” is a typo in the judge’s order. Comey’s trial is not set for 9 months ago 😂.

At one point during the hearing, the judge asked the prosecution why the case can’t be tried before mid-December.

Lemons replied: We are “just getting our hands around” discovery in the case.

There’s lots of it, he added, and it includes a “significant” amount of classified information.

Macron remarks are notable- some quotes: "We have been incredibly naive in entrusting our democratic space to social networks that are controlled either by large American entrepreneurs or large Chinese companies, whose interests are not at all the survival or proper functioning of our democracies."

Fun word fact is that φοῖνιξ (phoinix)—meaning reddish-purple in Greek—is the basis for Phoenix 🐦‍🔥 and the word Phoenicians (the city of Tyre made some gorgeous purple, y’all). I’m fun at cocktail parties!

Mary McCord, former Acting Assistant AG for National Security, and I teamed up on Qs Senators should ask #Bondi at her Judiciary Committee hearing on Tuesday, on strikes that have killed 17 people to date.

The implications are serious. Consider a few of the Qs:
