Corporate ownership of single family homes is the main driver of the housing affordability shortage. Restrict home ownership to Primary Residences only and we’ll be set.

And one of the richest. What does that say about the world we live in?

Women lie and men lie. People who are good upstanding people in most other ways treat each other terribly at the end of a relationship.

Sorry sir, your Jewish race card has been declined. It seems there is a large debit on there from something called “Gaza genocide.” Perhaps you have another form of payment?

Lol, imagine if Britain told black Americans that we own Botswana, so we moved back to the country and started a wholesale slaughter of native Botswans using weapons sold to us by those same colonizing powers.

Would you be defending our right to slaughter those indigenous people?

It's great to see workers standing up to such a large corporation. Solidarity!

I'd be more for moving towards something like free market socialism, which I'd say is a direction we've moved towards as a society already to a degree.

One thing I'm seeing more frequently in the US is people who have fairly good paying jobs, living in precarious situations, like year round in RVs or camper trailers, or with family. Yeah they have plumbing, but its not sustainable. Something has got to change.

America doesn’t have socialism we have “trickle-up corporate cradle-care.”
We lecture people about handouts, then shovel subsidies, tax breaks, and bailouts to the richest guys in the room.
It’s not a free market; it’s welfare, but only for CEOs.

Thats good! I don't hate anybody. I'm just putting my two cents out there, for whatever it's worth.

That's true, but the Old testament was written centuries before. And even by the time of Christ we hadn't invented the airplane, so the idea that God lived in the sky would have been plausible, and a fairly reasonable given available knowledge. They thought God made: rain, lightning, floods.

At this point I'd be for Free Market Socialism where all marriages are dissolved once a year for two weeks. You get to weeks to think it over, and if you still want to be married, you start up again. Obviously you'd keep property seperate. You're welcome for solving the world's problems.

Saying the Bible isn't meant to be taken literally passes as the mature and sophisticated position these days, however, when it was written, that's most likely exactly how it was meant to be taken.
