Yeah, no. I have a policy of not going anywhere near OpenAI's networks or platforms because I don't want to feed it a shred of my data or allow it's tracking cookies to get a foothold on my machine.

Microsoft erodes trust with every forced update and "new feature." Every time agency is taken away from the user it shows a blatant disregard for individuality and process. Faster is not better - in fact the vast majority of the time it's skipping all the checkboxes that makes the end results worse.

I'm at least grateful when games like Destiny will have a daily quest that involves zero achievement/requirements other than "complete the match(es)" so I can just jump in and run around without fighting anyone and find the most amusing ways to die or stay alive as long as possible without engaging.

I hate how mean spirited and overly serious people take it without having any appreciation for strategies or skills. Everything is distilled down to a min/max spreadsheet of ideal modifications that lean into optimizing TTK that developers make central to the progression grind, and players clock in.

And this sentiment is coming from someone who used to enjoy the competitive FPS scene of the late 90's and early 00's when Quake and UT were the undisputed FPS kings. I would watch pros like Thresh destroy opponents on Q2DM1 with the skill of an omnipotent wrathful god. Players needed actual skills.

I would rather pull all of my teeth and hair out than play any PvP game. I hate playing against other people so much. I don't understand how it's still considered a gaming staple. I have not had a good PvP experience in nearly 20 years.

Blender from the look of it - the physics sim is better than AI and the start-to-finish scene continuity is pretty solid so I'm willing to bet it's a bespoke animation and not Veo/Sora/etc.

I wouldn't say "back to normal" but you can go home and sleep it off. I had to sit on cushions and ice packs for a few days at least and no heavy lifting.

"Bottom surgery" is a completely different beast. Several weeks in the hospital, multiple surgeries, months of recovery - it's highly invasive.
