If you look around and see ten other people recording, your job at that point is not to pull out your phone and record - it's your job to STEP IN and STOP THE ILLEGAL ABDUCTION OF YOUR FELLOW CITIZEN.

A lot of men think that they have the right to speak on behalf of women when it comes to β€œprotecting us” from transwomen. Most women don’t have a problem allowing transwomen into our spaces. Most women don’t feel threatened by transwomen. We feel threatened by men. Stop speaking on our behalf.

I genuinely hope this - and the events in Venezuela last week - are the wake-up call other nations outside the U.S. need to be proactive and preemptive in stopping this rogue regime. America needs regime change, before the loss of life and soil becomes incalculable.
Sweden is over Trump's nonsense about Greenland and is sending in troops.

SWEDEN, PEOPLE.

I actually think we should be putting body cams on politicians instead - it would be just as effective at stopping bullshit wastes of government time and money as it would be at protecting citizens from government agents who are actively being trained to murder civilians. πŸ€¦β€β™€οΈ
House Republicans have proposed requiring the Trump administration to spend money on body cameras for ICE agents as part of the Department of Homeland Security funding bill lawmakers are currently negotiating, according to a senior GOP appropriator.

House GOP offer to Dems: Explicit funding for ICE body cameras following Minneapolis shooting
Rep. Mark Amodei, the House Republican negotiating the DHS funding bill, said the agency needs more law enforcement equipment under President Donald Trump.

There are easily enough observers to overtake ICE and free this citizen, yet they simply record the illegal action and do nothing. At this point I'm not blaming ICE because WE KNOW THEY DO THIS; I'm blaming the residents of Minneapolis for ALLOWING IT TO CONTINUE and not pushing these fascists back.

I'm an easy *3* and that's preferable. I don't want people to expect that I bite - it increases the likelihood that when I strike the damage will be unmitigated and devastating.

Please forgive me...I spent the entirety of Tuesday watching an anime called "I Parry Everything" - which had fun episode titles like "I Parry A Frog" or "I Parry the Emperor's Authority" and I'm sorry I just desperately needed something mindless with zero fan service to stay off social media today.

I *love love love* this shop, please buy some queer books to help them out!
So local gem of a bookstore @charliesqueerbooks.bsky.social got wrongly marked as β€œclosed” in a database, meaning UPS stopped delivering new book shipments right at the peak of holiday shopping/hockey romance enthusiasm.

But you can help! Buy a book!

They'll never do any of that as long as they're kept comfortable.

- When immobilizing a person's legs, the most effective force is behind the load-bearing calf from the target's flank, or to the unplanted lower thigh when in front of the target
- Do not fight against the target's force; lean into them when they pull you in, step back and away when they strike you

I am not responsible for what you do with this information:

- Soft targets for sharp objects around body armor include the eyes, nose, throat, armpits, groin, and inner thighs
- Weaknesses in bones/joints include the upper arms 2-inches above the elbows, and lower legs about 1-inch above the ankles

I keep a crowbar in my car easily accessible to my left hand next to my driver's seat in case of emergency - never thought ICE would fall into that category till now.

Also, those kevlar vests don't protect against knives to the armpits or groin. Lots of damage to be done. Everything is fair game.
Today at 34 & Park in Minneapolis, a woman tried to drive down the street where a protest had broken out in front of a home ICE was raiding, saying she had a doctor apt to get to. ICE agents busted out her windows, cut off her seatbelt, and pulled her out before arresting her.

A few months ago, ICE hired me

I didn't sign and submit any paperwork. I almost certainly failed the drug test. I'm real outspoken about my opposition to the Trump administration, and I am extremely googlable

And yet, there it was, in plain English. "Welcome to ICE!"

You’ve Heard About Who ICE Is Recruiting. The Truth Is Far Worse. I’m the Proof.
What happens when you do minimal screening before hiring agents, arming them, and sending them into the streets? We're all finding out.

It has the best character development of any season/series in the GITS catalog, and the soundtrack is superior.
