Designer, musician, and curious by nature.
This is tuly a wonderful metaphor by Alex. On one side you have a soft, artificial, and tasteless/bland experience that is loved by children. And on the other, a strong, wonderfully complex, and natural product that can be made into a host of great and different experiences.

Chef's kiss.

5. The scene when Jonathan is giving his son advice? Boy did that make me feel things. And it might be the standout moment of the film for me.

4. I wish some moments went a little deeper or felt more poignant, like “Take my hand Peter!” from Guardians 1. But this has to do with the verisimilitude of the film, and theburnettwork has a great review talking about this.

I've seen James Gunn's SUPERMAN...and it wasn't AT ALL what I expected. #1046

3. The movie feels too short (25m or so). It rarely lets up throughout its runtime, but I found that I wanted it to slow down and let us sit with these characters and moments more.

2. Perhaps weirdly, I actually disliked John Williams' themes being identifiable in this movie, as it blurred the lines between this new take, and the old films we've gotten accustomed to.

1. Overall, I think I like this new take. It's quite different tonally, and it took me some time to warm up to it. But the cast is really strong, and it absolutely justifies exploring this new universe more deeply.

I love this as a typeface-centric design practice. And it's worth noting that the `ch` unit uses the 0 character as it's width. So a good trick is to use a smaller ch when setting the measure of proportional fonts.

And I'd love to know… They do mention in the keynote: "Its colors informed by your content, and intelligently adapts between light and dark environments…" So either it's not working correctly right now, or it's something more concerning.

I should note that Veilguard does run incredibly well, but I hoped they could have taken a more progressive approach so I wouldn't be entirely blocked.
