Which makes me think... One thing I do genuinely think is great about a lot of Japan's blue-blood politicians is they have a great sense of decorum, especially calligraphy.

Definitely starting to feel the friction between what I want my daughter to learn (Japanese/Chinese cultural immersion) vs what she seems to be interested in.
I suppose it's something all parents have to go through.
