Physical prints? We really lack the infrastructure that Japan has (i.e. Melonbooks) to sell them online.

Digital copy? I think we may make it available for free afterwards, idk, need to consult Profit on it before making a commitment there.

Unfortunately, registration is at this point closed, so people just hearing of this now will not be able to participate.

This year may very well be a pilot. Should they hold this event again next year, I would love to see more of the creators in the western Touhou community participate.

For 15 years now, I've loved the virtuous cycle that doujin culture brings, with Touhou as the prime example of its success in encouraging creators to express themselves and grow in their craft. I'm really excited to be part of that first step in bringing it to the US!

Should, but probably won't. I don't think any profit driven company is going to do this until the Windows/Linux market share story has inverted from where it currently is.

Been saying this for *years* now: Cygames is just trying to be Nexon but Japanese. Nexon has been beating the drums of AI since early 2024, and here is Cygames playing catch-up.

Nexon embodies everything wrong with the games industry, and Cygames wants to chase that bag. Neither should be trusted.

auxm is the general suggestion now. Minimal, extendable, ergonomic, fast. Rocket somehow underperforms Python frameworks.
