Thing is, comedy lives in the wide shot, especially in the Marx Bros. time. The performance was key, you couldn't edit around it.

I know you know this, but: with single cam, performance is de-emphasized in favor of editing. Not saying it's better or worse, just whose talent you're leaning on, the actor or the editor. The director is, hopefully, involved in both.

Didn't clock "Procreate" as anything other than the literal meaning of the word, so I spent far too long stuck on the first two words wondering who you were addressing. Straight people who fuck? Why is Randy addressing breeders, and why did he come up with such a convoluted term for it?
