I think you're right about it being context dependent though. Features like gender are only mentioned when they can describe something perceived to be non-standard. For one reason or another, men are subconsciously considered the standard in far more contexts than women.

As someone who was considering buying the whole suite prior to their pause on sales, this is super cool in the short term.
