While running a D&D session last year, I didn't have any music prepared, so decided to improvise on my mandolin instead. To my surprise, the players all enjoyed it!
Since then, the mandolin has been a staple of my GMing, usually supported by some ambient noise in the background.

Not trying to force that creativity is probably why it's taken 2½ years with little to show.
Nevertheless, I'm proud of the results; this a much greater creative work than I thought I was capable of making when I began.
