Transit polls well. We use that popularity to push for more reliable and abundant transit. Let's make it better than driving.

It's finally happening! We can't wait for the red paint to reach Bloor. And we'll keep fighting until it gets to Wilson.

Special thanks to the thousands of transit riders who wrote in, spoke up, or knocked doors with us this summer to make bus lanes on Dufferin happen!

No more sufferin'!

Per StatsCan, of Canadian metro areas, Victoria #yyj is among the highest for transit mode share, and is the highest on the list without some form of higher order transit.

Yet we have minimal expansion plans for the next decade due to infrastructure & funding.
Victoria has one of the highest shares of transit commuters among the 140 largest metro areas in Canada and the U.S.

the 510 gotta be a poster child example that slapping dedicated transit lanes don't necessarily allow transit vehicles to glide smoothly past traffic. got to address intersection priority!

There are a few programs proposed for funding that we are supporting.

Canada can be better at urban rail transit today, heres how we do that:

- Prioritize speed
- Prioritize reducing opex
- Improve Capex efficiency
- Upload more transport responsibilities to feds, Overhaul approach to create a national strat. and standards
- Increase int. collab., reduce US collab.

2019 service levels was recently restored on line 2, & I'm loving it.

as some who works wonky hours (late morning to evenings and nights), having 2-4 minute wait times all day for the subway has saved me a lot of time.

I haven't had to wait more than 5 min for a train on line 2 these past 2 weeks

This was a really good video about the wrangling to bring rapid transit to the Montreal neighbourhoods that need it the most!
It looks like Montreal is spending money on a train for the sake of having a train. At this point they should just invest the billions into bonds and use the interest to run more and better bus service and end up with a better outcome.
