I wonder if the right side is wider

And I'm assuming having another eastbound lane here... but there will still be a pinch point under the bridge

Is it just turning this yellow striped area into a lane?

Though I'm not sure how you're gonna be able to fit a protected bike lane *and* a lane of traffic in here...
Bloor under the bridge with bike lane bloor before bike lanes, two lanes of traffic

Looks like the "priority removal" of the Bloor West bike lanes under the train corridor will not remove the bike lanes, and will continue to have barrier curbs & bollards.

It will just be reconfigured to restore a lane of traffic. (Bike lanes will be slimmer then)

www.cbc.ca/news/canada/...
Sarkaria says the work that is set to begin on or shortly after Oct. 20 will not remove bike lanes from Bloor Street W. between Resurrection Road and Clissold Road, rather it will reconfigure the road both to include bike lanes and restore a lane of vehicle traffic that was removed when the bike lanes first went in.

Sarkaria says the bike lanes will include barrier curbs and bollards.

I know this is literally not true, but it feels like 50% of Ontario provincial politics is about alcohol.

Lots of mention on the removal of some of the 52 mature trees, ok… so they’d support building a five-plex in the existing bungalow envelope to preserve the trees right…?

“They told us the traffic impact would be negligible,” said Stankov. “But I leave for work every morning at 8:15 and I can tell you there are way more than four or five cars on the street.”

Those four extra houses are definitely gonna cause a traffic jam 😱😱😱
Site plan of 5 single detached houses

With the amount of pushback I was expecting like a tower or midrise… *at least* a multiplex???

It’s 5 single detached houses replacing a bungalow on a large lot and people are losing their marbles😭😭😭

The people yearn for pedestrian streets.

📍Dundas near Beverly for Nuit Blanche last night
Dundas pedestrianized at night. Busy with people

There’s a little more seating/table up against the window inside, but this is a more of a grab and go coffee place I’m assuming
