As a millennial, I reject the concept of work-life balance. Balance is a state where opposing forces are equal and that’s often not possible in the work-life relationship. I strive for work-life harmony where the different parts of my life, though unequal in size, combine to create a unified whole.

Findings suggest HRVB can reduce negative affect, craving, and substance use among those in early recovery from SUD. HRVB appears to confer benefit in part by disrupting the association between craving and subsequent sub use; these results support HRVB as a potentially efficacious treatment for SUD

Bar graph from a meta-analysis that shows Cognitive Processing Therapy is far superior to EMDR for treating PTSD. In fact the difference between CPT and the next best treatment - Prolonged Exposure - is larger than the difference between EMDR and control.
