I still often think about this post and how it perfectly illustrates the misunderstandings centrists have about fascists and why the fascists won.

My point is about this part.
They claim 58% men and 42% women. Implausible. Only reasonable explanation would be that their study design barred nonbinary people from giving the correct answer or excluded them altogether.
Both would be flaws, scientifically and ethically.

In meinem Soft-Horror-SF-Dings "Von Oben" geht es auch um ein außerirdisches Monster, aber eigentlich gehts darum, dass wir selbst viel schlimmer sind.

Ich muss bis 1999 zurückgehen, um "Mett" in einer meiner Geschichten zu finden - aber es ist in einer, die ich irgendwann noch mal neu in gut schreiben will.
Dann allerdings wohl ohne Mett.
Dafür hab ich "Eigentumswohnung" in "Eine Riesenmenge Geld - eine Liebesgeschichte".
„Ich habe keine Geldprobleme!“ rief sie. Sie fuhr auf und blickte zu mir herunter. Ich musste meinen Kopf sehr weit in den Na-cken legen, um ihr Gesicht sehen zu können. Ich überlegte auch aufzustehen. „Du hast meine Wohnung gesehen“, sagte sie, „Abgesehen von der Miete und dem Auto habe ich keine Ausgaben. In fünfzehn Jahren bin ich zu alt für das Kommando, und sie versetzen mich an irgendeinen Schreibtisch, den ich hassen werde, weil ich an diesem Schreibtisch irgend'nen unnützen Job mache, den ich hassen werde, aber ich werde ihn nicht aufgeben, weil ich nichts anderes kann, und das werde ich hassen. Ich seh gerade viele Plakate zu dieser Kampagne und ich mochte Rossmann noch nie, aber das find ich wirklich besonders eklig.

I thought for a moment whether I had understood correctly, because I didn't actually know the last word, but thought I could guess, and finally replied: "Oh god yes please."

Ja, ungefähr so hatte ich es mir auch vorgestellt.
