Honestly, they should have to go through a character fitness test like what lawyers have to go through to get licensed. They can do as much if not more damage than attorneys can, it would weed at least the worst offenders.

Having once been told by a male therapist that I needed to deal with my childhood trauma by "taking it like a man" yeah there are some nasty fuckers out there who have no business in providing therapy, let alone therapy to women.

There is an extreme lack of ability to analyze and understand the differences in media in the younger generations. One of the main kinds of arguments I have with my daughter these days, in terms of music, is different genres of rock. Sometimes it's laziness, sometimes it's lack of critical thinking

Very clear that I don't want opiates, I don't like their effects and there is even odds that I am going be very nauseous if not puking my guts out taking even a minimal dose. Just give me something non-opiate that's stronger than OTC, thank you

It's probably more like arrogance with a side of how much money they can try to get paid for seeing you. I haven't had to deal with specialists, my main problem is that I get treated like I am potentially drug-seeking( I have no history of drug abuse), which is all the more frustrating when I am

I've had to deal with shit like this when I've taken my wife to the ER. She tells them what is wrong and unless it's a female Dr or her PCP, they look at me to tell them what is "really" wrong. Buddy, it's her body, listen to her about what's wrong, I'm just the emotional support.

I mean, that's fair. I'm mainly seeing it in the 20-somethings around here and I tried the Moustache look once and hated it. Content with my beard, especially with winter maybe knocking on the door
