I find it ridiculous that so many popular books get boiled down to "Faerie smut" or "dragon smut" when they're, objectively, just not. Calling 50 shades "Mommy P*rn" was derogatory but at least that book was spicy AF. ACOTAR and Fourth Wing are fantasy novels that also have romance and sex in them.

You don’t have to be Hispanic, nonbinary, transgender, female, disabled, poor, or part of any other group he targets to recognize this as a historical pattern. The fear of history repeating itself is very real. They never stop with just one group.
