If Agatha Christie crashed a country club and spilled everyone’s secrets, you’d get this book.
It’s twisty, gossipy, and delightfully unhinged—where every neighbor is suspicious, and the quietest cul-de-sacs hide the darkest truths.
4.5 stars for murder, mayhem, and country club chaos.

Currently dating three books, emotionally unavailable to reality, and flirting with the idea of a fourth. 👀✨
Don’t ask how many bookmarks I’m juggling. Just know they all think they’re the only one. 😅💔📖

Got this beauty in the other day. Only a few chapters in and it’s already been so cute and so steamy. For those familiar with Icebreaker, this book follows our boy Russ and his love interest, Aurora. And you’ll be glad to know that the Maple Hills Hockey parties are still as wild as ever 🙌🏻😂

Finally finished listening to Lights Out by Navessa Allen. Definitely wouldn’t classify it as dark romance. Sure, it’s a little out there with the stalking and murder stuff, but it was more of a romantic comedy for me. Very cute. I loved Fred the most.

Sutton Asylum is…interesting. Reads very much like
Harley Quinn/Joker vibes. So it’s cool if you’re into that sort of thing. Juvenile writing and loads of trigger warnings. ⭐️ ⭐️

If you’re a mild game player and/or a book girlie, I 100% recommend Split Fiction. For book lovers, it’s a love letter to storytelling—full of magical libraries, epic space battles, and creative chaos. If you adore books and games, this one’s a perfect page-turner.

Review: Bull Moon Rising by Ruby Dixon

Werewolves? Too basic. Minotaur? Perfect.

Horny (literally) hero, fated mates, and steam that defies physics. Worth it? Absolutely. Regret searching “minotaur romance”? Never.

i delete my posts a lot and wanted to give you some insight into why i do that:

1. i asked a question and got the answer i needed
2. vibes were off in the replies
3. i came back 10 minutes later and disagreed with myself
4. i reread it and thought i sounded annoying

Finished “Just for the Summer” by Abby Jimenez today. Such a cute read and I loved how the ending wrapped back around to the starting scene. Also extremely validating for those of us with extreme flight responses and anxiety.

Read “The Fall Risk” by Abby Jimenez tonight. Super cute novella, perfect for a quick Valentine’s Day read. Trigger warnings for stalkers and incest, but otherwise light-hearted and funny.

Really disappointed in the Mufasa movie. Not really sure what I was expecting, but it definitely wasn’t that.

Hey #booksky what are we using to track our books other than Goodreads or Fable?

ICE is trying to deport Native American people to Mexico. This one from the Mescalero Apache Tribe.

That's right. People indigenous to the United States, tribal members. ICE is trying to remove them from the US.

This is the second verified incident I've heard about.

We were here 1st.

I find it ridiculous that so many popular books get boiled down to "Faerie smut" or "dragon smut" when they're, objectively, just not. Calling 50 shades "Mommy P*rn" was derogatory but at least that book was spicy AF. ACOTAR and Fourth Wing are fantasy novels that also have romance and sex in them.

Just finished my therapy session, and it reminded me how important it is to take time for my mental health. Therapy isn’t always easy, but it’s worth it.

I couldn’t abandon Matthew and Raven, so I went back to The Shooter’s Sister. Figured I’ll read the second book, The Twin Sister, but only for the sake of finishing a “series”. Definitely could’ve been left alone, but I can appreciate the fact that the author wanted to give us an “aftermath” story.

Ready for it to be warm enough to go for a nice walk. Just like 10° warmer maybe

Taking a break from reading The Shooter’s Sister by Paige Dearth so I can read Onyx Storm. But I can’t stop thinking about Raven and Matthew. I hate how predictable this book is but I’m a sucker for a nice, wholesome, childhood trauma story.
