I also agree with this take: his polls are as low as can ever really be expected. No need to convince his remaining supporters; they're a waste of time, who don't care about the country's wellbeing, nor even their own. It's like supporting a sportsball team to them.

I'd still prefer those goons not be bullshat into thinking they have blanket immunity. It's been one of my favourite ice creams since I was a kid in the 1970s.

I think the response would've been faster. One tower may still have been standing today, and thousands more people would've been alive. And Gore definitely would not have started another oil war that had nothing to do with that day.
