Project update: I am over 19% of the way there (62/317, by my count), which... isn't bad, necessarily, but the problem is I'm running out of places to look and people to ask.
Is it gauche to, like, talk about who has agreed so far and use that as a means of gauging interest as well?

Something I'm learning as I'm trying to find people for my Pokémon project (aside from reestablishing how bad I am at this sort of thing) is that there aren't a lot of avenues available if you're looking for interested parties, even where interest should be at its most prevalent.

I'm trying to capture some B-roll footage of Project Diva Mega Mix for a short video, but OBS refuses to work with it properly.
If anyone's willing to record themselves playing ten or so songs to help, I'd be more than happy to compensate you for your troubles.

I'm looking for recommendations for games released this year. Cheap to free, has at least something novel whether it be in terms of gameplay or presentation. Preference goes to shorter games, or ones that can be played while listening to a podcast or something similar.

I wish I was more excited for Silksong, but it's been so long since I played the original that I feel like I'd be thrown around like a bug-sized rag doll if I tried it immediately.
There's also the inevitable "does it feel complete" question that'll come with comparisons to the original.
