i hope i'll be able to at least communicate in japanese and french someday. i want to visit both countries before i die.

irish is just self-punishment. no hope to ever be able to say anything beyond caca madra. my brain is simply too smooth for lenition. beautiful language though.

anyway, i study french on mondays and wednesdays and japanese on tuesdays and thursdays. on saturdays i try to learn irish, because i hate myself and enjoy suffering

honestly my favorite thing about japanese specifically is when i look up how to say something and it's just english. like フライドチキン.

i am probably too old to be learning two languages at the same time but am i going to let that stop me? ちがう！Non! je suis アンストッパブル! That was probably wrong! OH WELL!

the least my crumbling body can do for me now is make my hair all white so i can dye it whatever funky color i want and be the cool old guy

my friends' kids are all in high school and college. my dog is eating senior dog food. my joints are snappin and crackin. things are sagging. my eyes quit on me. i do not like this

I'm trying to learn, it's really hard. I can read kana, and a few kanji, but it's hard to talk or write things in Japanese. I get really confused with the grammar. すこしずつがんばっています! 😅
