I wonder if people overseas understand how completely awful it is in America right now. Everything is terrible and sad and embarrassing and scary all at once. I'm struggling to sleep, and when I do manage, I have nightmares. It is so bleak.

anyway there's a hedge across the street that a fantastic bulldog pissed on this morning and all the dogs going past have stopped to sniff and leave their own little spray of piss so i think that bulldog is going viral in the dog world, canine forum thread has a ton of comments at this point

This is deeply weird revisionism of a guy who was always a bigot. The guy was doing holocaust denial 20 years ago when Dilbert was still very popular.
Scott Adams is dead. Without excusing or condoning anything he said, I think it was very hard for a lot of creative people, including him, to watch their entire art form collapse as newspapers stopped running comics, and that resentment was fertile soil for the reaction that he'll be remembered for.
