There is absolutely no science to back up any such belief systems.
Personal testimony is not proof, no matter how sincere. Somebody reporting they experience gender identity is no more proof it exists than somebody telling you they were Cleopatra in a previous life is proof of reincarnation.

The motive behind this attempt to demedicalise gender dysphoria may be well-meaning. Sufferers deserve not to be ridiculed, but treated with dignity, compassion and understanding.
But it is misguided, and it is absolutely not science.
