Settler colonialism is not something to be thankful for. On this National Day of Mourning, I think of the millions of Indigenous peoples of Turtle Island that were slaughtered, the cultures that were erased, and the languages that were silenced. Thanksgiving is not something to be celebrated.

I’m not really convinced about any leader until I see for myself whether they deliver on their promises or break them entirely. Will you serve the general public or serve yourself and the 1%? Please put your preachings into practice.
