And the right response to transphobes is *always* to uplift trans voices, as a reminder that we have always been here and we will always be here.

Danger: I see Ripper Street (one of the best TV shows of all time) (in places) is new to Netflix and the temptation to watch it a third time is… stronger than it should be in my post-Hannibal state of mourning.
Watched Hannibal. This was a terrible decision in so many ways, the worst of which is that I have now binged 3 seasons of Hannibal and now there is no more Hannibal.

Please sign my petition for every book to be named with the author’s name and a number after it instead of ever having to think of a title.
I know that I tend to find whatever I'm doing in that moment to be the hardest phase of writing but since I'm drawing now I feel I can be objective. The hardest (for me, YMMV) is 1) structural edits 2) coming up with titles 3) drafting (free but neurotic) 4) copy edits (that feels mechanical)

I just adore the way @saramegan.bsky.social writes, her voices are so strong. I often roll my eyes at YA romance but never in Sara's stories, it is *so* real & I was absolutely rooting for Ruby & Drew to have a happy ending without a clue how it could come about...& it was satisfying & perfect #UKYA

Like so many others, posting messages on here, I really liked Alex Wheatle. I liked him when I met him, but I liked even more the effect he had on the teens he spoke to - visiting a school after he’d been there was something special.

I am sad to hear that he’s died. I think he was brilliant.

On Friday I took the weirdest of our three cats to the vet so they could stitch up a horrific gash in his leg.

I have had three nights of him walking backwards, dragging the cone of shame noisily across the bed clothes, trampling MY FACE, licking me and meowing at me.
