The POINT, in crayon, is that people who use this tool are using poor judgement and sloppy shortcuts which sidestep original work, and it calls all their work into question.

If I need to explain this in crayon, all tools are not equal and "results" aren't confined to just the overt output; results include harm to original creators (IP violations), harm to the planet, and harm to the development of skills and abilities of the user.

When people become emotionally invested in a con, it's more psychologically devastating to a lot of people to admit they've been cinned than it is for them to keep investing everything in defending the conman.
