I think his deployment late in games has been awful. My concern is the lack of discipline and give-a-shit, which indicates the players either don’t care enough or don’t have enough respect for the coach. I’m not absolving them of responsibility but given what’s occurred something has to give.

This many blown 3rd period leads is not a minor issue. It’s a major lack of discipline. Go ahead and mock me all you want - if the team thinks this is acceptable, as it clearly does, they will never respect the coach.

Kindel, Koivunen, and McGroarty should be the shooters in the next SO. The vets do the same thing every time; only question is whether they’ll be stopped or miss the net completely.
