As an indirect tax person (sales tax, property tax, Canadian GST/HST/PST, VAT), tariffs are NOT an indirect tax.
If you think we “already pay tax” on goods to other countries, you are likely looking at one of the above and not tariffs. Throwing this out there so you know there is a difference.
