NEW COMMIT: '06 F Eric Lund commits to Northeastern. Younger brother of the San Jose Sharks' Cam, Lund is 6'1 and played last season for Cushing Academy, where he scored 24 points in 30 games. More to come on the site. Congratulations to Eric and the Lund family!

Lines for the Huskies as they play for their season tonight in the Hockey East Opening Round. Borgesi back in the lineup, no excuses. See you in an hour live from North Andover.

Updates on the new arena project are ready and should come later today. Included in their article are some new renders of the arena. The DogHouse wall is pretty cool. I don't think you could claim it's lacking in Matthews inspiration.

Northeastern lines up like this tonight, looking to take the fight for home ice into the final weekend of the season. Tellier serves his game disqualification while Vinny Borgesi misses his second game this month.

Unsurprisingly, it's BU turning to the line blender after last night while the Huskies will stick with what worked.
February 22, 2025 at 11:01 PM
Huskies return with mostly the same lines tonight. Norcross and Fisher on the bottom line with Messuri drawing out. Whitehead retakes the net.
February 21, 2025 at 10:56 PM
Borgesi back in the lineup for NU. Based on warmups Quentin Sigurdson will be making his first collegiate start tonight.
February 14, 2025 at 11:51 PM
Appears the Huskies will be without national time on ice leader Vinny Borgesi for the final nonconference matchup of the year this afternoon against Harvard. The top line reunites after some experiments to add scoring depth to the lineup didn't pay off in past weeks. 4:30 start.

Huskies trying out a new configuration tonight after a lackluster offensive performance Friday.
February 4, 2025 at 12:58 AM
Same 19 for the Huskies tonight. A sweep would be huge here.
January 18, 2025 at 9:57 PM
Huskies with a similar look tonight to last Saturday, coming off a dominant win. Hoping that Cam Lund being listed as centering his own line might mean Jack Williams is fit for faceoff duty again. We'll find out shortly as NU looks to go on a late season run.

No Hryckowian for the Huskies tonight. That's new after his strong performance against Brown last week. Lemay still out as well. It's never easy...
December 14, 2024 at 7:41 PM
The Huskies' adventure with having all 6 of their intended top six defensemen in the lineup lasts less than a period, as Lemay left yesterday's game after a big hit in the first period (NU challenged for a penalty and did not get one) and is back out of the lineup tonight.
December 7, 2024 at 11:10 PM
Lines for NU today. Anthony Messuri in the lineup for the first time this season.
December 1, 2024 at 6:19 PM
Northeastern goes back to the drawing board up front tonight with yet another new combination. They've scored just 2 total goals in their past 3 games. Fredericks draws in.
November 23, 2024 at 10:05 PM
New day same team. Ryan McGuire back into the top six after serving his time in the doghouse (not, not that one).
November 16, 2024 at 9:34 PM
NU with a push here in the third but absolutely begging for someone to make the .894 goalie make a save.
November 16, 2024 at 2:09 AM
Mostly same personnel for NU tonight with Jack Henry still out, but the line shuffle brings Eli Sebastian up to the top six and Ben Poitras back into the lineup after missing a game for taking back to back majors.
