Oh goodness — I’m so sorry to hear that, and glad you’re now ok. I had it mildly, although had to go to hospital to get ECU & chest X-rays etc., when my sats dropped. Unfortunately I haven’t recovered although am ok in myself and very lucky all things considered. Will be 5yrs with it in May.

If she got sick with Long Covid like many (now-ex) NHS workers in the support group I attend, she’ll now know different. Many careers lost & lives upended. 5 years ago, they were getting clapped, now they’ve been abandoned.

I imagine it’ll be down to rights costs — although I think there are daily highlights on the BBC, & they’re usually pretty quick to put clips on the website. Have to say, having watched a test on Sky, I much prefer TMS. I like working with it on, & the feel of camaraderie it has. Great day’s play!

That’s incredible!!! I have to admit that I came to the game late, I never ‘got’ TMS when my dad always had it on when I was a kid, just didn’t appreciate it at the time. Fortunately I got into it in 2005 and loved it ever since. I enjoy all the formats, but can’t beat Test Cricket.

This. A million times this. This constant stream of gaslighting BS is beyond insulting 🤬 Everyone I know with Long Covid (myself included) were non-stop, always on-the-go busy before LC. We’re constantly trying to eke out more from our energy envelopes. Our ‘effort preference’ 🙄 hasn’t changed.
