@zaynabmmohamed.bsky.social is coordinating food relief. The list goes on. At least @smith.senate.gov and @peggyflanagan.bsky.social post about what's happening instead of going to hockey games. Regular people and elected officials are out here every day working to keep their neighbors safe.

@jchavezmpls.bsky.social is driving across south mpls unsleeping showing up to save constituents and coordinate relief efforts. @aishagomez.bsky.social is forcing hospital administrators to follow their own policies and kick the gestapo out. @elliottpayne.org got assaulted by ICE.

And don't give me that hand-wringing "oh woe is me what can we do" crap when a) everyday people are out in the street chasing down ICE vehicles b) you're an elected official with political power but presumably also a car and c) in some cases you are literally in charge of (an) armed force(s).

Here's a handy video of some warm-up exercises you can do to help get yourself prepared to shovel! Obviously, adjust them to your fitness level, but the main goal is get yourself warmed up for physical activity. You can't go from 0 to 60 here, & you'll get a better idea of what you can handle!
