Our gilded-age robber barons originally robbed Venezuela of its oil after WWI. They may have employed locals, but the profits went right into their own pockets. Venezuela took back what was theirs in the early 2000s. That’s the oil Trump keeps calling ours. It’s not ours. It was never ours.
Remember when Trump’s 2017–2019 sanctions and policies escalated making life in Venezuela unlivable in pursuit of oil, forcing millions to flee in 2020, with many ending up at the US border, only for Trump to use said border as a talking point on the 2024 campaign trail? I do.

Did you know the American system is based on wrath? I thought the system was based on justice. Wrath is a more biblical approach, which I think should concern us. Words matter.

It’s funny to me that Trump likes Hegseth for his looks and being “camera ready.” I can’t be the only woman who sees a creep with a sense of entitlement. I wouldn’t let him walk me to y car.
