I need these streaming services to get their act together. When I type "For The Love of Money Bone Thugz" you know what I mean.

Do I know it's called "Foe Tha Love of $"??? No. But you know it's close enough. Pull it up.

...why do we have the President of Venezuela?

Uh...give him back.

Finally unpacked the Superpuff vest for the first(?) time this year since the low temps are finally in the 30s. Used to be my #1 article of clothing from 2020-2023. Feels like a warm hug.

I was born in the 90s and the first (possibly second, tbf) time I ever thought about Brigitte Bardot was after the "Me Too" kerfuffle in 2018. I've since separated the neckline from its namesake.

V convenient to say someone is your "idol" and claim not to know their notoriously rancid views but 🤷‍♀️.

Did a little clearance day shopping at Aldi (because I needed food and also random $0.59 holiday-themed foodstuffs) and randomly picked up a stoneware/ceramic travel mug with a terrazzo silicone sleeve.

I feel the ancients whisper to me as I drink my lil bevs, now. Water, mostly.

When did Christmas become a firework holiday??? Who is setting off fireworks on Christmas Eve?!?! Why.
December 25, 2025 at 5:32 AM
Just finding out that Lamarr Wilson passed, too. Sending little check-in texts to my funny friends real quick.

In retrospect, "Is It Cake?" was really the harbinger that tried to prime us for recognizing AI-generated images.

I have a strange active listening face when I hear Spanish and am trying to muster all of the forgotten language skills from 3 years of high school and some fruitless days of Duolingo. I can read it but I cannot speak it.

V earnestly trying to change so I stop giving off "Speak American!" vibes.

Told my parents about the senate race; they may even vote in the primary (I will drag them to early voting). The old Black church folks (apparently) love Jasmine Crockett because she's a "fighter". who knew? (A lot of people. Most people. Everyone)
December 10, 2025 at 4:47 AM
Unfortunately, between Friday and now I have become Jasmine Crockett's strongest soldier because the way some of these pundits who have never stepped foot in Texas talk about her irks my entire being and now I have no option but to vote for her in the primary. My hand was forced.
December 9, 2025 at 5:05 PM
No one else caught that Colin Allred, Jasmine Crockett, and Marc Veasey all caucused, huh? Allred stepped out of the Senate race to let Crockett have better odds, Veasey stepped out of his House reelection bid to the county level to clear the way for Allred's run in 2026. Interesting.
December 9, 2025 at 4:33 AM
Marking it. TX primary in March goes to Crockett (name rec, fired-up resist libs who actually vote in the primary love her).

Paxton "somehow" carries the R Primary.

The state of the economy and immigration enforcement will have to be/stay apocalyptic for a D win. Sigh. Bring on the suffering ig.

Just got jumpscared by the price of eggnog this season. It has always been $3 or less for my lil 32oz carton of Lactaid Eggnog. Now it's $4?! The price of milk comma eggs is not that much I have all the ingredients to make it myself ig. 25% in one year ooooh someone will pay.

I was a Sydney Sweeney stan from Everything Sucks to the Make Sixty Great Again post. I did break my "ban" to watch Immaculate.

SS was always a capitalist riding trends: Savage X Fenty, Syd's garage tiktok/Ford brand deal. She horribly misread the room and assumed an actual right-wing culture lean.

Started the year with Spotify, then switched to Apple Music for 3 months, Then 3 months of Amazon Music (the worst by far) and finally Tidal (which was just okay). Trying Deezer next and then probably Qobuz. I like to keep the people guessing.

As a consequence, I have no accurate "Wrapped" to show.
December 3, 2025 at 9:25 PM
I need a Tubi Wrapped/Recap/Year in Review. I am not asking, Tubi. By next year.

As someone who was born/raised/lives in TX, Oklahoma is actually what the rest of the country visualizes when they think about TX as backwoods/irredeemable.

IMO, the most surprising thing about the OU essay is not that the instructor is being unfairly targeted; it's that OU had any trans faculty.

I keep thr*wing up because my body is disagreeing with my white cheddar popcorn and Candy Cane Kisses overconsumption. I appreciate that I'm trying to protect(?) me but, like, respect my choices.

(It has been like this since my late 20s; my body auto-rejects my sad attempts at food sometimes.)

Oop. I have been under a tornado watch all day today and I did not realize. TBF it was on my weather app I just thought it was for someone else I guess. Still going until 1AM and we do not have tornado sirens but I am taking my phone off silent so hopefully it will yell at me if something happens.

My Aldi grocery picker has done me a solid on the avocados. 1 is ready to use today, 1 is a day or two off ripe, and the rest are firm.

Yes, he was Latino. He knows ball. We live in TX so everyone should. But no. Usually all hard.

(I know I could ask for ripe in the notes, but I keep forgetting.)

It's always cute (derogatory) to see a cult of personality form based on vibes alone from a group of people who are constantly telling people not to idolize politicians (that they don't like).

An aside, I do wish mental healthcare were more accessible in the US. It'd cut down on a lot of this.

*Through clenched teeth*: Thank you, Gavin Newsom, for adopting Texas' non-R constituency and fighting our governor for us.
EL PASO, Texas (AP) — Federal judges block Texas from using redrawn congressional maps that would boost the GOP in the 2026 midterm elections.

Ever since I discovered how to use dark brown lipliner at the ripe age of now, my life has improved. Black eyeliner at 12, a revelation. Brown lipliner at **, a renaissance.

I know we’ve already decided on Mamdanistan for NYC. What are we thinking for Seattle? Wilsongrad?? There’s already Lenin in Fremont. It would be on brand.
