The 2026 BBWAA Career Excellence Award ballot has started to reach voters' mailboxes. Longtime Guardians beat writer Paul Hoynes remains on the ballot and is joined by Tom Verducci and Scott Miller. Miller passed away in June.

One thing I neglected to note: for the second straight year, we won't have any new additions to the All-Time Net Gained Vote Leaderboard. A couple candidates got close (Beltrán +38, Pettitte +36). I have a hunch we'll see some 2026 entries here.

Just added ballot #333 to the Tracker, which brings us to 84.5% of ballots known and a new record! (Previous best: 84.4% in 2020.)
