Got a lot of aetherpool in the new DD, get to the boss and then our dancer main protagonist decides to be dumb and be vague on the fight meaning mess ups and a wipe

I lost...so much aetherpool. Plus the dancer and bard messed around so much I was irritated come the boss

Okay I looked it up, delayed onset muscle soreness or "DOMS"

Tends to happen when you push yourself a bit harder than usual which I did on Sunday by doing a few intense rounds on the ball machine at tennis then done a 1 hour session which was also brutal

Completely normal reaction thankfully

I hate scrapping streams cause I feel guilty but cancelling all because I feel a bit sore is frustrating. It's normal to be sore the Monday, not normal being sore for days on end after

Gunbreaker Veldian weapon so far is the favourite, works so well with Ali's glam. I've picked up a few, and I'll probably do a handful of runs a day till I have all of them

It's nice to see this crossover offer more items to make it more repeatable. For me this is just glam purposes and hoarding

Yeah, you'll need the extreme to do it though but a 10-15 normal run and an extreme clear gets you a 760 weapon

The tomes for the trial aren't fantastic though, 12 for a clear, 32 if there's a newbie. Where I'm at relic wise, I'm better just finishing the lot cause I have 4 left to get

It's a bit unusual to have mega pots in this fight but it's because it's so freaking busy mechanic wise, one pot heals you entirely so it's worth using

Save healers' resources, keeps the fight smooth and we're not having to LB3 midway through which has had to happen

The Arkveld trial on XIV is so much fun

Compared to Rathalos which phase 2 was just bobbing and weaving, Arkveld's more fleshed out and a real fight. My one bit of advice for the fight, use the mega potions

A lot of the struggles have came from people being reluctant to use them and they wipe

Regarding on whether Veldian weapons are worth collecting, I'd say they're useful as a catch up weapon. Say you've not keen on the relic grind, a regular Veldian is 745 which is the same as a stage 1 relic

Augmented is 760, same as a stage 2 relic

So a quick fix if long slogs aren't your thing

Well I now have a side project during my relic project, get all 21 Veldian weapons

Fortunately it's just 18 more runs of Arkveld which is fine, easier than relics at least
