From wht I know this is just a common robber fly. Never seen one up close,till now.

Still my favorite bumblebee pic of all time. I do not remember where I got this from, though. I think it was a FB entmology page.

So thiers a new," man-made power bar," that's supposed to be great help with pollen deficiency in colonies based near blueberry fields. That's my understanding of the research so far. Im going to look further into study and give my two cents later today.

1st one seen today, Painted Nomad Bee (Nomada fucata) - Parasitizes the Yellow-legged Mining Bee (Andrena flavipes).
2nd one seen, Gooden’s Nomad Bee (Nomada goodeniana) – Parasitizes the Buffish Mining Bee (Andrena nigroaenea).
