There are so many stories. There was one where Steve was upset with Palm. Ed Colligan goes, Steve, let’s not spend money on lawyers. Response: “When you say let’s not waste money on lawyers I feel you are overlooking the difference between our respective companies.”

I do think this would be going differently on that side if Steve were still there. Trump would have been scared of him. On the other hand I am glad he did not have to see this.

Biggest corporate example of abuse mentality. They were abused a lot and then Steve was like, we will never be put in this position ever again.

It is a great scene in the show though. Travis is scared out of his mind. Hank Azaria plays Tim Cook. Travis yells in desperation, what, you are judge and jury and executioner? Tim just shrugs and grins.

Apple is brutal when it wants to be. The supplier NDA they have has a $50 million fine per violation and they enforce it all the way up to just bankrupting the company.

The guy who built Claude Code said he runs 5 of them at a time then offloads even more stuff to web versions. I don’t do that but certainly a bunch to think about.
