The weakness in Australia's shares can be seen in the 2 charts.
The longer term 52wk NHNL is still green while the 13wk NHNL has now turned negative.

Only positive sectors are.

After the mass shooting in Australia at Bondi the government has come out with a novel idea, reduce the number of guns in the society.
Not that hard really.

I wonder how many people will be reconsidering travel to the USA now that big brother wants to pry into your emails and social media accounts.
All the hot air about free speech has now been revealed to be a lie.
I can see it being the death of the tourist industry.

My systems have been slowly selling down on the Aussie market, all through September and November as the weakness started hitting stocks.

Im getting close to 50% of my portfolio holdings now.

No buying until the index filter will allow it.

The index would have to rally past 9100 before any buys.

Between 1946 to 1960 Australia's population was increasing by 2.7% P.A.

Currently the population is increasing by approximately 1% P.A.

How come now we have a housing crisis and back then we didn't?

Were we better at building?
Or have we now turned a home into a speculative financial asset

Im glad to see the back of October and another 12 months before we have to see it again.
My longer portfolio was down by -4.5% over the month.
The shakeout occurred in the small/mid cap miners as gold/silver had a breather.
I picked up a few iron ore miners in their place.

My longest held gold stock finally gets shaken out in the recent volatility.
#BC8.ax got sold, sad as I was hoping it would go higher. As soon as the news reports are all talking about the gold price you know a top is in.
