If the four senators who voted to end the Canada tariffs threatened to block the reconciliation bill unless the tariffs were rescinded, I think they’d have leverage to force Trump’s hand. Not that they would, but they could.

@justinwolfers.bsky.social please explain the tariffs and how he arrived at figures. I’ve seen many explanations and they are all over the board. It appears to me, these tariffs are based as much or more on trade deficits rather than tariffs on US goods.
