After many years, I met one of my best friends and colleagues, Dr. Philipp Zehmisch, in the Department of Anthropology at South Asia Institute, Heidelberg University. He is my host at Heidelberg University. We were excited to meet each other after so many years!

Again back in the field! Framed in the Rohingya refugee camp, Balukhali (camp-9) this morning. Fieldwork is the learning ground for a researcher! Always enjoy learning from human contacts more than reading books.

The Department of Anthropology at CU, in collaboration with UCL, DU, and USW, organised an International Conference yesterday on the 8th Rohingya Genocide Remembrance Day 2025. With around 200 faculty members and 400 students attended the conference. It was a BIG academic show!

Dr. Thillai Ranjan, Professor of the IIT, Madras, visited Harvard University for two weeks. But, we spent quality time together and shared mutual research and experience. Yesterday, we had farewell lunch together and said bye to each other. Both were framed in front of Harvard Law School.

I gave a talk at South Asia Center, University of Pennsylvania, this morning on my research and experience in Bangladesh. It was a great interactive session. The Associate Director of South Asia Center gifted me a bag, the center's signature bag, with some small souvenirs inside. Enjoyed a lot!!

Held a meeting with Madhab Chandra, one of my junior colleagues at the University of Chittagong currently doing PhD at Temple University in Philadelphia, last night. It was a very fruitful meeting as both of us reflected on plenty of issues with our reciprocal research interests. Enjoyed trully!
