Paintings as decoration in the canteen. With the lanterns it's starting to look pretty nice! A cozy space.

Having finished up the Charm purchases for the Exalted build, I built our scavenger lord craftswoman to focus on defense out the gate, with choices for protection and noticing first, which befits a careful and methodical personality, and then working on crafting.

But despite that, it's fantastically dangerous. Inevitably fatal. Intentional or not, the robots WILL kill you and they won't pause. They're not smart, but they don't really have to be. You don't seem to have much time left and it doesn't look like help is coming. Or even knows there's a problem.

Nobody had this coming. Nothing seems malicious. Not even the robots, really. I think they were just doing what they were programmed to do. If there was any thought process anywhere, it seemed like they were trying to help. That's what they're there for.

ROUTINE has its own vibe but sometimes I'll get a whiff of something else, like an echo. ALIEN, Resident Evil 2, the movie Sunshine or The Fountain - the vibe is powerful enough to sell the game entirely on its own with no regrets.

Sunflowers feed the bees! And they're easy to grow. The garden provides sunflowers for yellow dye, beets for red dye, and cocoa beans for brown. Bone meal provides white dye. I don't yet have plant sources for blue and black, and right now ink sacks are at a premium.

One thing we left off from on Saturday was our efforts to do some interior decorating and design in the new complex - you can't have a building without stuff to put in it right? But I was missing important stuff so we're importing both finished goods and raw materials for the effort.

Hey interesting (and good!) news!
It turns out there WAS something about the game preventing my progress and it's effectively resolved by closing and reloading because it resets the alarm that went off for us opening the door. Which is essentially a glitch for us I guess.
So we CAN proceed!
