They/them
Finished and loved "Promising Young Women" by Caroline O'Donghue

I really love how engaging she writes. O'Donoghue writing had me laughing out loud, while really caring about Jane's problems and hoping she will be OK.

For those watching the UCI track, this was the calls on the austrailian, Trinidad & Tobago, and German riders in the elimination race for their relegations

Finished 'Spontaneous Acts' by Yoko Twada, translated by Susan Bernofsky.

Despite being short, it really felt like a heavier read, about a literary researcher in berlin on the work of Paul Celan.

Invited to give a lecture, he struggles with the question "what is your nationality?"

Great idea but why wait 50 years, why not rename it now for the "kneecap bridge of peace"

Lazy opinion columnists who blame stuff on "wokeness" and "political correctness" are killing the irish times.

Also should the last paragraph be "late 20th century", not belated 21st century"

Finished 'Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow' by Gabrielle Zevin.

I really loved it, found Zevin's writing so engaging.

I want to read more from her.

As part of my job, I read workplace relations decisions.

The big thing is that if procedures aren't followed fully.l, there will be a finding against and payment awarded to complainant.

this week, was found against a company cos they only took 20 minutes to fire a person for inappropriate texts.

It is in the UCI regulations that you lose all the point classicilation.

The only way it would be got around is a declaration before the start extending time cuts.

On the mountain tt, 6 riders were saved by moving limit from 33% to 40% but this was announced before the stage
