Finished installing the floor today. Only took 10 hours. Next is the trim.

Ceiling is de-popcorned and sanded. Now to install wiring for ceiling fan and wall TV before I patch and texture ceiling.

A couple of exploratory holes, a practice scrape, floor paper, and lots of janky diy cloths and sheets… all to prep for the ceiling work. Looks odd, but cleanup will be significantly easier.

Major achievement unlocked! The wall tile is installed, included my custom niche and shower window. Whew! Next steps are grout, install vanity, toilet, shower door, light fixture, and towel racks. Progress!

I’m too slow to be a professional, but my #craftmanship seems solid. A long way to go still but the empty troughs waiting for grout are oh so satisfying to gaze into.

Support structure and leveling start for wall tile is in! One can never have too many levels, including fricken laser ones. Also, floor grout came out pretty nice.

p.s. Did you see and hear that I knocked over the laser level? Good thing I was done.
