Frankly, I would rather see the states do most of the prosecutions than the federal government, whenever possible, IF a state law is involved. That way, SCOTUS may be out of the picture. They can only overturn state convictions when federal/constitutional law is involved.

I can promise you that MANY people who shouldn't own guns can pass a background check for a CCW. For instance, none of these asshats failed checks, but few if any of them should own guns. Cosplaying heroes of some resistance fantasy, if they ever do get the government they want, it's over for them.

I'm a gun owner APPALLED at the lack of stricter background checks. It took me less than 10 minutes to buy a gun. I would prefer to keep my gun, but I don't think it will magically protect me from tyranny, either. This good gal with a gun got a criminally bad guy to tyrannize her and everyone else.
