So let me get this straight: Ghislaine Maxwell will exonerate Trump in exchange for clemency but has effectively already done so by that offer. So, what possible reason would Trump have to take her up on the offer now?

My prediction, Trump will pardon Maxwell as he's leaving office and not before.

When the Democrats take back the House, Bondi and others will probably not bother to even show up to oversight hearings.

Is this their version of China's 'one-child' policy?

Wait. If Rep. Omar says, "in Somalia they execute pedophiles" and RNC says "Rep. Omar is calling for Trump's execution," is RNC acknowledging now that Trump is a pedophile?

I got my 1st passport while in the military but never had to show proof of citizenship to get it, or any subsequent ones. I never had to show a marriage license explaining my name change either.

In case you don't know, we have non-citizens serving in the U.S. military.

I think he may have gotten his WWs mixed up--more like WW2 and 1942.

I've read so many stories just in the last month of Trump voters who DON'T regret their vote, even if they're feeling pain now. Most of these people will go to their graves supporting Trump because they refuse to discern between truth and fiction, reality and fantasy.

I think that's right, and once the midterms are over, we'll see a lot more of it.
I kinda like that every time Repubs kick the traces, it's different folks. Makes me think that there's a simmering undercurrent of resistance that's likely to burst out fully very very soon.

If anyone had been listening to George Conway for the last few years on @thebulwark.com, no one would think that he would be "more of the same." This is not a Fetterman, and he would fight against Trumpism in every way possible.

That's a fair critique, IMO. Getting rid of Citizen's United should be high priority.

In 2023, under Joe Biden, the economy added 3 million jobs. In 2024, still under Biden, it added 2.2 million jobs. In 2025, under Trump, it added just 181,000 jobs.

If it were the "greatest economy...ever in history," there would be no need to "get the word out."

Consistent with Project 2025, the Trump administration has managed to capture, commandeer, or corrupt every important social institution -- every important social institution except juries, that is. Project 2025 didn't have a plan for juries.
BREAKING: @carolleonnig.bsky.social reports a federal grand jury in Washington, D.C. declined to indict Sens. Mark Kelly and Elissa Slotkin on charges of seditious conspiracy Tuesday, according to a person familiar with the proceedings.

Have they met Kid Rock and checked out the lyrics to *his* songs? Pedophilia perversion and protection is clearly in vogue in GOP circles.

That even only sort of worked because the Congressman was willing to talk for more than 30 seconds. Most don't.

The fact that her reaction is almost certainly opportunistic makes this more, not less, significant.
GOP Sen Lummis says she’s changed her mind after the new Epstein revelations today: “Initially my reaction to all this was, I don’t care. I don’t see what the big deal is. But now I see what the big deal is. The members of Congress who were pushing this were not wrong!”

Would that be because there's people who will actually be held accountable? Bet she never once holds Trump accountable.

We're never getting to the bottom of all of this, because there are too many people in power who knew, participated is, and/or are just protecting pedophiles.
